White

White clouds turn gray,giving birth,
white skies no longer shelter against rain,
white drops escape reaching earth,
white droplets glistening my mane.

White dress when we wed,
white shroud when we die,
white robes christen our birth and
white nectar we suckle when we cry.

White sheets on which we write,
white the colour of truth,
white in the midst of our Flag,
white lies-the exuberance of youth.

White skin to descriminate,
white stubble to show our age,
white with fear,expecting death,alike
white tiger we imprisoned in a cage.
